Dragged my sick self to the doctor’s office yesterday, but that didn’t stop me from appreciating the beauty of Seoul in November. Armed with my iPhone, Halls, and this track on repeat, it was just sort of magical.

I have written about Billie Holiday before as I do not think there is a better example (perhaps a Maria Callas) of both strength and fragility all in one package. Rarely (once again, like Maria Callas) do we see the ferocious decline of talent over time on recorded output. But that decline only reminds us how high they actually were. Regardless, I intend to make this not as text heavy so I will leave you with the song and some of my favorite pictures of autumn in some of my favorite places (Paris, Galway, Princeton, Seoul).
