Haiku (4-3-4 (x6))

The board heaves

under my weight

with tension.

Purple dusk,

hazy words, one,

sharp silence.

Tree, anchored,

shade from the sun.

Cover me.

My spirit,

floats without heat,

soars to God.

Thank you tree,

my purple dusk,

I sing you.

Sing my lips,

My barren words,

My full heart.
