These are just a few photographs I scanned from my father-in-law’s yearbook from 서울고등학교 Yearbook (1959) circa 1959, Seoul, Korea. Seoul High School is a famous high school and my father-in-law was apparently an excellent student. There is a lot of information on Seoul High School’s website (along with some great historical photos of the school circa the turn of the 20th century, but it is taxing my rudimentary Korean to fully understand what I am seeing. I will keep plugging away at it, though. Fairly slick website for a high school.

This is what I do when I am have time on my hands. I scan yearbooks and blog about them. Off to Seattle tomorrow and then Seoul. Signing out.
