안녕하세요, 런던대학교 교육 연구소에서 박사 과정 중에 있는 한국외국어대학교의 마이클 갤러거 교수입니다.
2013년 10월 4일 출판 된 후, 대안 교육 이라는 주제로 큰 성공을 거뒀던 네덜란드 저서 《Het Alternatief (The Alternative)》 의 international 버전이 출판되기 앞서, 한국의 교육 제도에 대한 본인의 견해를 말씀해주실 현직 초, 중등학교 현직 교사 분들의 참여를 기다리고 있습니다^^
전세계 교육자들을 대상으로 쓰여질 단행본인 만큼, 대한민국 선생님들의 소중한 의견을 말씀해주신다면 한국 교육 제도에 대한 독자들의 이해가 더욱 높아질 것이라고 생각합니다. 인터뷰 내용은 새로 출간 되는 international 버전에 수록 될 예정입니다. 현직 교사 여러분의 많은 참여 기다리겠습니다.

세부 내용:
저서 《Het Alternatief (대안 교육)》의 내용 중 60% 이상은 전세계 현직 교사의 인터뷰 및 case study로 구성되어 있습니다. 한국(South Korea) 에서도 대한민국의 교육 제도에 대한 본인의 견해를 말씀해 주실 현직 초, 중등학교 교사를 찾고 있습니다. 저희가 함께 이야기를 나누고자 하는 주제는 크게 3가지 입니다.
My name is Michael Sean Gallagher. I am a Lecturer in Digital Education at the Centre for Research in Digital Education at the University of Edinburgh. I am Co-Founder and Director of Panoply Digital, a consultancy dedicated to ICT and mobile for development (M4D); we have worked with USAID, GSMA, UN Habitat, Cambridge University and more on education and development projects. I was a researcher on the Near Futures Teaching project, a project that explores how teaching at The University of Edinburgh unfold over the coming decades, as technology, social trends, patterns of mobility, new methods and new media continue to shift what it means to be at university. Previously, I was the Research Associate on the NERC, ESRC, and AHRC Global Challenges Research Fund sponsored GCRF Research for Emergency Aftershock Forecasting (REAR) project. I was an Assistant Professor at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (한국외국어대학교) in Seoul, Korea. I have also completed a doctorate at University College London (formerly the independent Institute of Education, University of London) on mobile learning in the humanities in Korea.
