I find this to be incredible work music, sitting at your desk, struggling along with some mechanical task, drifting into some happy place.
The band is Amiina. They are an Icelandic musical quartet composed of Hildur Ársælsdóttir, Edda Rún Ólafsdóttir, Maria Huld Markan Sigfúsdóttir, and Sólrún Sumarliðadóttir. Say that five times fast and consider yourself impressive.
I came to know them as the backing band for Sigur Ros.

The track called Seoul is especially near my heart as I do think it captures a bit of that crystallized innocence, that wanderlust of floating around through Gangnam(강남) or Hongdae on a nice bus in a nice bus lane late at night (or as was my case, early in the morning.)
My name is Michael Sean Gallagher. I am a Lecturer in Digital Education at the Centre for Research in Digital Education at the University of Edinburgh. I am Co-Founder and Director of Panoply Digital, a consultancy dedicated to ICT and mobile for development (M4D); we have worked with USAID, GSMA, UN Habitat, Cambridge University and more on education and development projects.
