It is good to see Sigur Ros back at work as it feels like it has been awhile since we last heard from them (although Jonsi has been quite busy during that stretch). More of an art piece than actual track, it is nonetheless visually stunning. I have to admit that I grow slightly weary with distortion nowadays. I can justify it artisitically a million different ways, but aesthetically it repels me a bit. Makes for a nice contrast with the rest of the track, though.
My name is Michael Sean Gallagher. I am a Lecturer in Digital Education at the Centre for Research in Digital Education at the University of Edinburgh. Previously, I was the Research Associate on the NERC, ESRC, and AHRC Global Challenges Research Fund sponsored GCRF Research for Emergency Aftershock Forecasting (REAR) project. I was an Assistant Professor at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (한국외국어대학교) in Seoul, Korea.
