Something about flying brings out the devotional in me and I so give you this, for no other reason than it is good to be humble in the face of so much circumstance. I have flown a million times before, but it never ceases to leave me in some sort of petrified awe.

My holy Angel Guardian,
ask the Lord to bless the journey which I undertake,
that it may profit the health of my soul and body;
that it may assist others in finding their voice, their justice,
that if it does, I may reach its end,
and that, returning safe and sound,
I may find my family in good health, my loved ones near.
Guard, guide and preserve us,
and give me the courage to believe
in the mysteries of this life
as the gateways to spiritual understanding.
